Alcove fixture with a fixed wall and sliding door
Alcove fixture consists of a fixed wall and a sliding door. The product is well-suited for a shower enclosure with fixtures next to it where the door doesn't have enough space to move outside and inside. The door slides behind the fixed wall, so it does not need additional space for opening. The door slides behind the fixed part supported by the bearing wheels installed into the top and bottom edges of the door. A magnet seal keeps the door tightly closed during showering.
The alcove fixture is attached to the wall of the building from the sides by
means of wall mountedprofiles. The alcove fixture is installed with a
single lower slide rail of the width of the entire product, using both top and bottom rollers. The product can be installed off the floor with the
help of an adjustment leg, allowing the water to flow under the slide rail.
Alternatively the water flow can be prevented by installing a seal (standard
part) under the slide rail. .
Installation guide
Installation services are available in Finland capital (Helsinki, Espoo, Vantaa, Kauniainen, Porvoo, Sipoo, Kirkkonummi, Nurmijärvi, Kerava, Järvenpää, Riihimäki, Pornainen, Hyvinkää, Tuusula), Tampere (Tampere, Nokia, Kangasala, Lempäälä ja Pirkkala), Hämeenlinna and Lahti (Lahti, Mäntsälä, Orimattila) regions. Service is carried out by manufacturers professional mechanic. When product is ordered with installation service, transport company delivers the product to customer site. When the product has arrived, mechanic will phone customer and agree the exact installation date and time. Installation is done to clean and installation ready surfaces. If there is an old product in the bathroom, you can order the additional service for removal of the old product. Installation work includes besides installation of the product also silicone seaming of wall mounting joints and drilled holes and taking away the installation garbage. If you are unsure about the measures of the product (for example in case of custom sized products), you can order a measurement visit on-site done by the mechanic. In this case the mechanic will fill-in the final measures of the product to the system and the responsibility that measures are correct is carried by the manufacturer.

The white (RAL 9016), black (RAL 9005), Sand (RAL 1019), Mocha (RAL 8025) and Cocoa (RAL 8019) surface treatment options are manufactured by powder coating. The fittings used in the product, are made of painted brass alloy.
The product is manufactured of 6mm thick tempered safety panel (EN 12150). The safety panel can be treated in the factory with Cranith calcification prevention coating. The coating enables the panel to stay clean easier. Clear, grey and brown glasses are smooth surfaced and transparent panels, Chinchilla and satin panels are not fully transparent, details cannot be made out through the panel. Chinchilla is textured on one side and smooth on the other side. One side of the satin panel is etched to acquire a velvety feel and the other side is smooth. When choosing a satin panel product, bear in mind that the etched surface of the panel is sensitive to scratches and stains.
The alcove fitting is always manufactured by custom dimensions. The wall mounted profiles have the total of 40 mm adjustment range. The adjustment range can be used for leveling any tilt of the buildings walls as well as for accommodating the alcove fitting into the installation opening. Please note that the mounting opening should be 25mm higher than the product itself.
